• Booking and payment details: event information, amounts, and transaction records

2. How We Use Your Information

• To create and manage your account and talent/client profile
• To process bookings, payments, and payouts
• To verify identity and reduce fraud, with verification reviewed manually by our admin team
• To power our AI-assisted talent matching feature using Anthropic's Claude API
• To send transactional emails: signup verification, booking updates, payment confirmations, and gig notifications
• To investigate reports of misconduct or policy violations
• To improve the platform and investigate abuse

3. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with the following:

• Paystack — processes all payments and bank transfers
• Anthropic (Claude AI) — receives talent profile data to generate matching recommendations
• Supabase — our database and file storage provider
• SendByte — our email delivery provider
• Other users, in limited form: a talent's public profile is visible to clients browsing the platform

4. ID Documents and Verification

ID documents submitted for verification are stored privately and are only accessible to GigaHit administrators. They are never shown publicly or shared with other users.

5. Account Actions

GigaHit reserves the right to restrict or ban accounts that violate our Terms of Service. Affected users will be notified by email with the reason for any such action.

6. Data Retention

We keep your account information for as long as your account is active. Transaction records are retained as required for financial and legal compliance.

7. Your Rights (NDPR)

Under the Nigeria Data Protection Regulation (NDPR), you have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of your personal data. Contact us through the platform to exercise these rights.

8. Security

We use industry-standard measures including encrypted password storage, rate limiting, input sanitization, and secure file validation to protect your data.

GigaHit is not intended for individuals under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.
