These Terms govern your use of GigaHit. By creating an account, you agree to them.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to create a GigaHit account.

2. Account Responsibilities

You are responsible for the accuracy of your profile information and the security of your credentials. You agree not to impersonate another person or misrepresent your identity, skills, or pricing.

3. How Bookings Work

Clients send booking requests to talent with event details and an offered price. Once accepted, the client pays through GigaHit's Paystack-powered escrow. Funds are held until the client confirms gig completion, then released to the talent minus GigaHit's 10% commission.

4. Payments and Commission

• GigaHit charges a 10% commission on every completed booking
• Talent may withdraw their balance to a verified Nigerian bank account via Paystack transfer
• Paystack's own processing fees are separate from GigaHit's commission

5. Cancellations and Disputes

• Bookings may be cancelled before payment with no financial consequence
• Once payment is in escrow, clients should not release payment if a gig was not delivered
• Once payment is released as "gig completed," it is considered final
• GigaHit reviews disputes in good faith but is not a party to the underlying service

6. Reports and Account Actions

Users may report other accounts for misconduct, breach of agreement, or policy violations through the platform's report system. GigaHit administrators review all reports and may restrict or ban accounts found in violation. Affected users will be notified by email.

7. Prohibited Conduct

You may not use GigaHit to arrange illegal activity, harass other users, upload content you don't have rights to, submit false verification documents, or circumvent GigaHit's payment system to avoid platform fees.

8. Platform Role and Liability

GigaHit is a marketplace connecting clients and talent. We are not a party to the entertainment services themselves and do not guarantee the conduct, quality, or reliability of any talent or client.

9. Account Termination

GigaHit may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, engage in fraud, or misuse the platform. Users will be notified by email with reasons for any such action.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
